I do my very best to find items that are clean, and in good condition, but I do not typically wash the clothing or linens, as I do not want to jeopardize the material in anyway. I do not know if they come from a smoking household or a household that had pets. I can assure you that once I receive them, I packed them and stored them in a clean environment.
